FFA Offers Students Real-World Experiences
This year, we have installed an FFA chapter at Woodsfield Elementary. Under the advisory direction of our Agriculture Science teacher, Jessica White, students are offered a variety of opportunities to further their academics and expand the experiences in which they partake.
FFA is a youth organization that prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. This organization uses hands-on experiences to help members discover tools to achieve real-world success.
The week of February 24, students dressed in themes. These included Patriotic Monday, Tropical Tuesday, Working Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Farmer Support Wednesday. A notable favorite was Working Wednesday, where students dressed as a profession they would be interested in being as adults.
