Kalista Friday and Amy Bettinger Named All-Valley in Girls’ Basketball
Congratulations to Kalista Friday and Amy Bettinger for being named All-Valley in girls’ basketball. Kalista was named to the Small School First Team and Amy was named to the Small School Third Team. Both were featured in a recent article in the Wheeling News-Register.

This Seminole sophomore showed no signs of letdown this season for Coach Troy Baker’s team.
Friday helped lead the Seminoles to the Division IV district final thanks to scoring 16.7 points a game. She did much more than score, however. She passed out 6.1 assists, 3.9 steals and collected 3.7 rebounds per game. She also knocked down 85 percent of her foul shots and dialed up 52 bonus goals.
Friday was named First-Team All-Eastern District, All-District 12, All-MOVL, All-Times-Leader and Special Mention All-Ohio.
“Kalista was a very dependable ball handler, scorer and rebounder for us,” Baker said. “She was also able to create good looks for her teammates with 159 assists. She’s an all-around, tremendous basketball player with a lot of skills.”
