With Governor DeWine extending the “Stay at Home” order until May 1, we know things are crazy trying to make ends meet. Our staff is busy planning, but we wanted to share the few updates we have at the moment. 

  • We have few updates at this time on work – have your kids continue working on what we gave out a few weeks ago; it’ll be due on/around April 17
  • We have cancelled all field trips for Powhatan Elementary at this time
  • We are working on a plan for students to turn in completed work, pick up new work, turn in candy bar money, etc. Stay tuned for more info

We also wanted to include some information the Ohio Department of Education released new important documents, resources, and updates for families, educators, and school faculty relating to: 

  • Remote learning resource guide
  • State testing
  • Early learning and school readiness
  • Community schools
  • Whole-child nutrition updates
